Round 5: Changes Vs Giants

Can't believe I'm saying this but yeah, I'd take Ballas over Schultz.

Out: Schultz - Coyler
In: Ballas - Fyfe

Hughes - Hamling - Ryan
Wilson - APearce - Duman
Langdon - Mundy - B Hill
Switta - Hogan - McCarthy
Ballas - Taberner - Matera

Lobb - Fyfe - Walters

Tucker - Brayshaw - Cerra - Conca

Only for now, hopefully Shultz takes his spot long term!

I reckon we need Darcy in the ruck too, Lobb is serviceable but he has been soundly beaten.

Switta for Darcy.

Hey mate. The Freo allocation are good seats. Manuka has terrible facilities, but the view is awesome from anywhere. This game will be a sellout by Saturday, but all the Freo supporters will be put in the same area. Take the Freo allocation mate

Ok thanks!

I'd like to see Lobb back in the forwards and bring Darcy back. Lobbs been okay in the ruck but think he offers a lot more in the forward line. Likely to be a really tough game against the Giants.

I'd have Matera and Switta stay as our main small forwards this week and give Ballaz a game at Peel before considering bringing him back up. I'd ideally drop Wilson for his poor form but that won't happen, and Hamling could go out if he doesn't get up so I reckon the changes will be

IN: Fyfe, Nyhuis
OUT: Schultz, Hamling

Good changes. Nyhuis has to come in. Once he does, the backline will be balanced. Wilson doesn’t have to worry about defensively as much. We need a specialist small defender anyway. He can mark and kick. We have plenty of half backers that can do the job and allow Nyhuis to just do his job and defend.

A Pearce goes to Cameron, that obvious. Himmelberg is just as influential though. Hughes will probably go to him. Match him for speed as well as up the wing. He’s a great mark of the ball, Himmaelberg.
It’s interesting, because their forwards isn’t set. Have a lot of types such as Finlayson coming in, Lloyd too.

To the contrary, I think the exact opposite. I reckon he is a better ruckman than he is a forward.

I actually mentioned a few times before trading him in that I didn't think he was a better forward than Tabs or Cox. I know he needs time to gel but have seen nothing that changes my mind about that. What I have seen is that he is easily our 2nd best ruck option (Sandi).

There is no Freo allocation I believe. I just got regular seats after trying ...

Article on AFL site says Ross is thinking of playing Hogan at CHB

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fairly standard of our history to play players out of position...

Think it would be more effective to play Pearce at CHB and perhaps try Tabs as FB. Big body, great strength, safe hands might be useful against Cameron.

Pretty sure Melbourne were planning the same thing if he had stayed with them. If he does olay in defence it'll be temporary anyway lol

I'm surprised that you're surprised. If Ross had his way our team would be set up in a soccer formation with everyone starting behind the centre line

To be fair, it is looked on pretty unfavorably to start any of your players beyond the halfway line. I know this from playing sunday league when I was uni. They don't like you smoking either.
