Mids is my strongest area, with Green M5.

The temptation to rage trade the likes of Doc and Cogs is strong but I'm trying to resist it.
Doc is an expensive upgrade to anyone decent now.

Could go Doc>Dawson
Cogs>Finlayson
Cowan>NVR

Finlayson was my preseason ruck/fwd until it became clear he would miss early games, so it wouldn't just be points chasing.

More disciplined course would be to hope Doc and Cogs find form. They've been playing really well in patches, so may not be far off scoring well.
Not convinced with NVR's JS.

Agree, I don't want to trade Green out. Prob won't. But literally everyone is scrambling to find a way to get Clarry in.

I get why people are scrambling to get Oliver in, but Hopper should eventually hit $450k, Setterfield maybe $500k, Ashroft hopefully $400k. You'll be able to do it soon enough without sacrificing another potential keeper.

Let's say it's a roughly 20 point difference between Oliver and Green for $170k. I'm sure there's ways you can achieve that for cheaper by upgrading someone that is a 0% chance of being in your team at season's end.

Yeah agreed, problem then is Doc. I have 16k in the bank. Literally no one I have cash for is a chance to be a keeper IMO (maybe Redmond). I know Setters could reach 500k, but he literally has a horrible run coming up, to where he might not reach that max for like 5-6 weeks.

So either I settle for someone like Redmond (I like Dale, but I do not trust his clown of a coach), or punt Setterfield for a JVR/Ryan and bring in any of Dawson/Sic/Stewart. Unless better ideas?

So Docherty and Day out. Not sure I can bench Day for 2 weeks. So far back in points and ranking. And Ginbey maybe rested.

Was hoping to move Jones along, but have to keep him now. All my fancy plans in the bin. Docherty was going anyway. Not looking my year in SC.

Option 1:
-Chesser to Cincotta
-Doch to Daicos

Option 2:
-Davey to Young (via Chesser to M11)
-Doch to Daicos

Obviously the first option only works if Cincotta comes in, and then it's super risky grabbing a player for his debut. But I get to correct Chesser.

The second option makes more sense, but Davey still has money to make. I'm waiting for the Dons injury report to see how he pulled up. He had knocks to his shoulder and ankle, so I reckon he'll be rested.

Yes I just belatedly checked the injury reports and saw that.
At least I can dump him with a clear conscience if he's injured.

I'd just keep it simple and do Jones > Michallaney/Tylar Young and Docherty > Stewart

You've got a strong midfield. No need to panic buy Oliver.
