Well you may want to read a few posts after that post of mine to see someone else posting that the picture I was referring to is Ebert but was posted ironically etc. ;)
You might want to check your sarcasm meter. ;)

Well the Powers midfield is without Wines and now Polec. They are giving away more inside 50's than they would like to and have a poor record the week after Showdowns.

Don't be surprised if we pull a win out of our ar$es here. If we kick straight and our forwards lock it in long enough don't be surprised if the Power run out of petrol after last week.

We need to be super efficient up forward though and land a bit of luck.

They're a better side than us.

With our injuries, they are a significantly better side than us.

Just hope we tackle tough football strong.
I think we can beat them if Hartlett and Boak are neutralised. Lobbe is their most dangerous player though.

I don't think we can beat them.

They don't have any superstars, but they have around 8 very good players.

If we were full strength is give us a decent chance.
They've been conceding tons of i50s in the past few weeks.

If they do so on sunday, we get the ball into the hands of hurn (or some of our other good balls users) and Kennedy's elbow is completely rekt we should be able to kick a competitive score. Even without Darling, a Forward Line of Cripps, Hill, LeCras and Kennedy is very very potent.

As for our defence... I think Schulz will be well held but i can see Ryder or Westhoff having a big game. Will be an interesting game that's for sure

Nic Nat could learn a lot by watching Grundy.

He works tirelessly around the ground and on the ball for the whole 120 minutes.

Reminds me of Cox a bit.

Grundy has amazing dexterity with his taps as well - just like Nic

NN is only rucking still about 40% of the time and I note late in games McInnes has been given centre square duties

NN had a full yet controlled pre-season, I wonder if they are controlling his minutes during games having noted his TOG% is almost the lowest each week (exc subs)

Regardless, I don't think Nic will ever be the player to link up through the ground

Edit: meant 50% for nic (not 40%)

You never once see Grundy loping around the ground like he has nowhere to be, a la Nic Nat.

Are there still fintess issues with him?

If not then he is not working anywhere near hard enough.

He reminds me a lot of Nic Nat in that he wins maybe 85% of taps? Clear majority anyway.

But Grundy's work around the ground shits all over Nicholas'.

I think it might be fitness. He exerts lots of energy and physicality around the contests he does get too for a 200cm, 100kg player.
