Most of us have made our irreversible trades by now and i'm thiking about next week.

I only have 12k or so in the bank now after picking up birchall this week so i've got a tougher decision to make this week.

With only 12k in the bank my only options are either 2 downgrades or downgrading one and upgrading Libatore to an uber premium, although if he maes his BE of 100 he'll have a super low BE the next week so it would be stupid to move him on.


Luckily I have Dwyer and Goodes in my midfield at the moment so i can bring in literally anyone for anyone.

At the moment my definite trade will be chopping my highest BE player
be it Stevenson/Neade/Macaffer/Blicavs/Pittard/Dwyer for one of either
Kerridge/Macrae or Paparone this week.

Then my second trade would come down to Libba and how the ruck rookies play, if i feel i have to cut Blicavs i might have to jump on Gawn, otherwise i could ride it out one more week and pick up Hannath the next week.

One thing is clear though this is NOT the week you want to be dual upgrading in, with only Hannath and Vlastuin set to be on the bubble next week, this week is your moment for downgrade action.


Im hoping for Libba to hit 100, do a double downgrade in round 6 then pick up Vlastuin for my remaiing Port rookie and upgrade to a dipping premium or a super premium in round 7

Will either do a double downgrade, or single downgrade and upgrade wingard to watson. All depends on performances of a few key players (how good the 2 game rookies are vs the 1 game rookies) and if I sustain any injuries.

Probably one of Danger/Bartel to Watson/Franklin.

Not sure what else. May bring in Docherty if he does well or maybe trade Hanley if he is out for another week.

If all goes well I'll be using Rd 6 trades to upgrade. I've saved cash to spoil myself with JJK -> Franklin, Bartel -> Stevie J and then Pittard/Heath/Stevenson -> Hartlett the week after.

I'ma look to get Watson in - maybe at the expense of Moloney. Shame so many rookies are going to be on the bubble at once. Hopefully some get dropped after this week and then reappear in a few weeks.

Week after that jack steven to Cotchin, downgrade someone, Pittard or Macaffer/neade.

Watson for sure! Especially before his game against GWS. I'll also be looking at offloading one of my non-playing rookies.

Mundy is gawn. Looked good in Round 1 but has seemed disinterested ever since.

Hopefully I can afford Stevenson -> Docherty and Mundy -> Watson (have 11k in the bank to help make this happen). If not I might jump off of Dwyer a little early, because I'm sick of Mundy's subpar scores.

Yeh I think I will look to get rid of Mundy soon as well. I love the guy as a player, but he just doesnt accumulate all that much. He has gold coast this week but he strikes me as a player that wouldnt necessarily score a lot more against significantly weaker opposition.

I have 280k in the bank as I havnt really done any upgrades the entire season (mostly sideways, downgrading). Might have to miss out on Docherty as I need to keep up the pace.

I'm not even sure yet. My initial thought is 1 downgrade/1 upgrade, but with the number of rooks on the bubble it might be worth downgrading 2 rooks and going for a cash grab. I was thinking of moving Currie to Gawn to get some $$ movement from my r4 position, and move Stevenson to Vlastuin maybe?

Then next week look to upgrade when theres less rooks on the bubble.
