I've seen enough, even if we go down from here todays performance is massive green shoots vs last year where under adversity we'd have crumbled.

We're taking it up to a team built on top ten draft picks getting kissed on the dick by the AFL/umpires for a predetermined outcome and despite some skill errors the effort and some personal heroics are keeping us there.

Huge progress to 2 years, 1 year, 3 weeks ago.

Proud of the group for turning it around.

100% obviously we'll be missed should we lose but we've improved so much

Yeo and Waterman are great, Yeo is next level amazing.

Kelly's disposal is seriously letting him down though at the moment. Outside of one bullet through the corridor he's been way off the mark.

Petch has done some good things, Duggan's been very good with solid attacks on the ball, rebound and good flat kicking.

Rotham winning most of his one on ones has been a highlight as well.

I think Darling's played pretty well so far getting up the ground a lot as are a lot of our forwards.

Jwill has done some disappointing things, like the HTB and missing Hunt on the handball 1-2 entering f50.

Ginbey has been a mixed bag, some poor kicks but good tackles and contested grabs. I do hope to see more from him though.

Ryan very quiet, need to get him involved.

I feel like the players aren't coming up quick enough, when they want to play this high press they need to be a step quicker, they look a little bit gasses which is fair enough because the ball has been spending extended periods at either front or back half.

Chesser invisible at the moment, wish he could find it as much as Gaff. Will probably come off for Sheed.

Cripps been poor.

Players making dumb decisions is creeping back in, probably due to how gassed they look.

Maric can kick, delight to see him with the ball in hand.

Amazing how many nuffies on here don't know the rules.

If you slow the game down, knock it away once it's over the line, don't give it back to the umpire when they ask for it, it's a free kick nowadays.

Given it was already Suns free for OOB, him punching it away was another penalty. Petrucelle is still a moron. Soon as he did it I said, "that should be 50".
I knew it waas free the moment the idiot pinched it, as a casual observer - he is paid to play. Just dumb. A sign we are not invested in the game.

No reason to call everyone nuffies - I know the rules and agree it is a 50 - but he "punched" it a metre into the fence - technically there but soft 50. Dumb by Petch, but still soft.

Agree. Dont think the umps have been bad today. And before someone quotes 16-7 or whatever, when the shoe is on the other foot everyone is at pains to point out the ledger does not need to be equal. Most of the frees Ive seen have been there.

Another thing that has given me the shits in this game in particular is our players inability to shepherd!

Yeo's best on ground but as an example, the play where Duggan has the ball in the centre, is moving and looking forward. Yeo is in front of him (~1m away) with his back to the play and calling for the ball.

Put your arms out and create space, you don't know what's behind you, the player with the ball does, putting a shepherd on there is guaranteed to create space, calling for the ball is a chook raffle of unknown consequences.

There was another example with Ginbey and maybe Kelly where a shepherd was needed and instead they made a mess of it.

The there was a good example of Darling providing a shepherd on the wing, it's good football even in this day and age when everyone seems to have forgotten its value.

Can’t watch yet due to delayed telecast. Looks like Bailey Williams is injured, right? 1 disposal, 0 marks, 1 tackle, 7 hitouts to halftime?

Or just having a stinker?

Ryan with the lead boots is no surprise in his first game back. I'm surprised we didn't wait for a home game to play him.
Nah, have him get the rust off in a Away game that was 50/50 at best.
That way he's better in the home game back instead of spudding it there.

Strangely it's almost a dying art

Hanging in there very well considering there appears to be two different sets of rules around stoppage and B.Williams is offering absolutely nothing against Witts.

Yeo is the best player in the competition right now. So good to see him play fully fit.

Petruccelle tagging N.Anderson is an interesting one. Anderson still getting a lot of possessions but his overall level of impact was much lower that quarter.

Looks like some rain might be on the way this quarter, early goals could effectively be double.

B.Williams: 1 disposal, 1 clearance, 3 clangers, 7 hit outs. Needs to step up this half if the club is going to win.
