That's an interesting one. I think the omissions will more than likely be Amon, Toumpas and one of Stewart or Howard. I think Gray plays.

I would have loved him named on the field. I agree with you, but with Hunter/Cripps/Kerridge/Gray a chance of a late out.... Hard to plan the field/emergencies. I am putting my faith in him, but.... I don't want a donut

Menaspew named on the ball yay

Hopefully can make his BE

You will know for sure tomorrow afternoon before lockout, so it's no problem. Could mean a reverse trades though for some if he isn't named.

All those who confidently jumped on Tucker last week will now be spewing. "Rossy will play the kids from now on" they all said. Just goes to show (again) not to trade in the rookies until you have to.

"Look, it's not ideal"

The last rookie I traded in before their second game was Mzungu. At the time the rookie options were fairly scant and I wanted a rookie the following week, and all the signs were pointing towards him getting an extended run as a mature aged recruit immediately adding something to an at-the-time young and weak Freo midfield. Never traded in a rookie prior to debut.

Always wait for as much information as possible imo. 99% of your rookie trades should be when they have played two and been named for their third game.

I was burnt last year so many times. This year, 2 games was my rule but last week I brought in petracca as he has pedigree. I could still be burnt but I saw so many rook options this week and next and bit the bullet.

I don't think there is another rook I will do that with this year.

Is S. Gray a chance to get the axe? 3 in, 2 on the field. was/is he in the worst 2 port players?

howard will be dropped for sure

other 2 - hopefully not sam - this is his back to form game - 90DT points for Sam (hopefully not in the SANFL)

Dont read into that griffiths is named on ball aswell

Not like I'm gonna play him on the ground don't worry.

Just want his price to stay stagnant
