Vossy refused to blast the team in his press conference, which is going to infuriate some people. Not that I care that much, he really needs to turn it around quickly. Hard with the bottom 6 not doing much.

Sharp and Answorth were really good tonight.
If Sharp keeps this up and improves, next year could be a good year for him.

Lester was unlucky to be dropped last run. Has been fantastic.

Everyone just tried their heart out, which is what you want.

P.S. Berry had a very underrated game. Saw he came up as third most disposals for the team.

He was doing ‘ roaming Brian’ 🙄, was talking to Dunks and his old man came over and Brian introduced himself. Bloke played 200
Games for Sydney.

And then asked who he was supporting and he said Josh Dunkley.

Very cringe from bt.

I think I can safely say thank you from the entire lions bigfooty cohort. Don't know why he left, just so happy he is ours.
I think it was a mixture. Primarily it was the opportunity to really play the prime inside big body mid (something he rarely got at the Dogs), the contract (it was only an extra 100k per year, but with an additional year, meaning over 1m guaranteed over the duration of the contract) and lifestyle. I don’t buy too much into the issues you read about, though I suspect he wasn’t overly popular amongst the playing group after he requested a trade to Essendon - admittedly he did have a bit of a clique of mates at the dogs in Treloar and Crozier but rarely did we see him spend a lot of time with a lot of the premiership team mates he had.

From a pure supporter of my club it’s frustrating to see him play so well but you guys would understand that as you’ve lost your fair share of talented players, but he will always be a premiership dog and if I take off the RWB coloured glasses I’m genuinely happy he’s doing well and enjoying himself.

I'm trying to let your first half of that go and I will.

The rest I agree with.

Yeah ,we were solid.

There are areas we need to plug in a couple of gaps where we'll get exposed against the best teams but tonight just enjoying the win and the grim realisation from Blues supporters that they're still a way off.
Like we did against Collingwood and Melbourne?

As I said pre-game, Brisbane win, the big Carlton forwards get a couple and the media is about Carlton and if they are a finals contender, Carlton and if their big forwards run into each other, Carlton and their fans walking out at 3/4time.

Onwards we go - payne was brilliant, Harris Andrews was as goos as ever. Berry was with Cripps at the first bounce until Dunkley said - "I got this".

Sharp and Answerth were ok, filled the spots, held their ground but we know Zorko and Rich will be back.

Below the radar we continue, our full field defence is the big improvement on last year and we are only just getting it right now. So glad I backed us on the TAB after back in December.

If you are that offended delete it or ban me I wont be offended... LOL!

BTW that post of mine has had 12 likes/laughs, a few of them from women.... and 1 disagree, most people on here have a sense of humour and don't take a joke too literally.
Just pointing out why things get removed, given that everyone loves to play precious and innocent when they get moderated,

Harry Sharp kicked his first goal in AFL career. Response from teammates was very low key. He looked like the work experience kid out there. He should go straight out for Prior or Robertson or Ah Chee.

Armchair experts program with Georgie Parker, some of her thoughts paraphrased post game:

“I still don’t rate Brisbane”

(Then reels off who we have beaten including Melbourne and Collingwood)

“Maybe it’s because Cameron’s kicked 26, Danihers kicked 18, Hipwoods kicked 13 and Baileys kicked 11”
“You can’t have your small forwards kicking more than your big forwards”

A team with a regular spread of goal kickers just steamrolled a team that relies heavily on 1-2.
Averaging almost the most goals per game as a team.

So Cameron’s on track for 70
Daniher 60+, Eric 40+ with 2-3 on track for 30+ potentially.

A-Grade idiot, stick to IG.
