Review Round 8, 2024 - Brisbane Lions vs. Gold Coast

Harris, Zorko, Neale, Dunkley, Wilmot. Berry unlucky. Gap to McCluggage. Overall, and despite the atrocious accuracy in front of goal, a very solid effort under trying circumstances.

Huge shout out to Morris who played VFL earlier in the day. Just to get through the game, with next to no bench is an achievement in itself.

What an incredible performance by our midfield with limited rest time. Put the Suns to shame. That has to be our gutsiest win under Fagan.

Then there was Zorko. That was a monster of a game. Absolute leader who gave it all and provided so much drive from the backline

Andrews Zorko and Dunkley were the key difference makers in the end. That win was built on them along with the rest who went with them.

Fletcher played back but Bruce looks pretty good with his kicks too. Great experience for Morris, hope he gets a run of games as well

It get’s harder each year, but if he keeps doing what he’s doing and doesn’t pick up soft tissue injuries, then keep playing!

Not going to lie, I thought we would need to ease him through the year with rests or subs. But games like that you just go wow. He looks so good coming off the back flank
