What a ridiculous question.

Do you think that when this allegedly happened, it happened because the guy doing it thought ‘I play for Geelong so guess what I’m going to do….’ And then he went and did it?

Equally do you think if he played for another club, would that be the reason he allegedly committed the crime?

Then why is anyone at all using club allegiance to pass judgement on the issue in general?

This place is a deadset cesspool at times.

The incident in question is a disgrace and I’m yet to see a single Cats fan suggest otherwise, and to a man, every single one of us, assuming the person in question is guilty, wants him dealt with appropriately.

For some reason we are wrong for thinking that, and it’s the club’s fault that it happened in the first place, and our condemnation of his actions isn’t enough.

One former Sydney, Port and Brisbane player was, basically, a likely sex offender. That’s not on the clubs he played for.

St Kilda likewise, other clubs as well; they’ve all had players who have done this or that and they’re grown adults, it’s not the club’s responsibility to make them obey basic human decency codes so why would we hold other clubs to a different standard to our own?
