They'll extend him if we are 4th to 8th imo.. shiversIts literally the worst possible time to make a decision on him.
It means we aren't going to have any chance to see how Carr does during the season, but we also won't have learned anything about how he goes in big games, which has been where he has consistently let the club down.
It sounds like if we're sitting top 4 in August they extend him, only for the club to again fail to show up in finals. I think that would be my absolute last straw - I'll be a Port AFLW fan only until he goes if they pull the trigger on him without a flag.
He'll get the extension. There's close to zero chance of us making the top 4 so I wouldn't worry about that. The more interesting thing is what happens if we finish 5th-8th.
He'll get the extension.
He’ll definitely get one top 4, won’t get one outside that surely. There's close to zero chance of us making the top 4 so I wouldn't worry about that. The more interesting thing is what happens if we finish 5th-8th.
This is frightening. Such a weird thing to lean towards a preference to lose enough to make this an impossibility. If he has a top 4 finish locked up in august
There is a contract extension coming
Its almost the saying of the board but it rings trueThis is frightening. Such a weird thing to lean towards a preference to lose enough to make this an impossibility.
We'll discuss whether Ken should be sacked with Ken.
Ken has enough runs on the board to be afforded the privilege of determining the time and place of his own sacking. We'll discuss whether Ken should be sacked with Ken.
Im sure we said the same thing last year.I'm trying to remain hopeful of a "sacking" or parting of ways. Hinkley's been on media street with his media "Save poor Kenny" mates. That's a good sign.
Pretty much where I sit at the moment too. Footy is totally discretionary. He's been here so long that it has made it possible for me to ween myself off football and the club to a point where I don't give a s**t any more.
I have found many other things to enjoy besides football and to be honest, I have much more to time to enjoy family things now. I will keep an eye on the team but no where near what I used to.
Who knows, when Hinkley and Koch are gone i might have a renewed enthusiasm for the club.
