Rip the band-aid off. Sack him now and pay him out. It was clear to 99% of us that we were going nowhere under him this year and it's now got to be clear to the remaining 1%. There's nothing to be gained by keeping him on.

Give Carr a $300-400K pay rise to take on an interim head coach role for the rest of the year.

In the final third of the season begin a search for a new head coach. Don't just automatically appoint Carr as the incumbent because he's doing OK. Aim for a Hardwick or similar.

If we can't afford the cost of one bog average AFL player's wage to reboot the program and avoid 20 rounds of the stench of dead man walking and the consequent impact of media speculation on the club's image and reputation, then the club's a bigger shittruck than I thought we'd become.

The fill in coach can do it for the work experience.

If we get pumped by the swans then expect 30k or less against the dogs the week after during prime time Saturday night coverage

It would be a monumental failure on part of port Adelaide during gather round no less, probably setting SA footy backwards after all the $$ invested by the AFL and state government

Maybe that’s what we need for the AFL to tap Kochie on the shoulder to make the call

there was more "joy" about this club in the Primus years. I was at those MCG games. At least then we knew there would be a better future
There was zero expectation then, you could watch footy & occasionally something like butch happened and it was total joy.

That this campaigner has been shown more respect than Russell, Williams, Cahill, or Fos says everything about what this club has become.

Hinkley is gone, it's just when the club chooses to do it.

We can't ignore Bassett either. We were horrendous in the front half last year now we're horrendous in the back half.

With the exception of Carr we need a fresh team of coaches.

Hopefully our ex-players in the media turn up the heat.

There’s no coming back from this.
A loss like that in a Showdown with the ‘best team Hinkley has ever had’ and in the hard fought for PBs is an absolute disgrace.

• 2015 Lost to 17th & 18th
• 2015 Showdown (Crows vulnerable)
• 2016 Showdown (offside trap)
• 2016 Blew 3-goal lead to wounded Carlton
• 2017 Showdown (81-31 inside50)
• 2017 EF
• 2018 Freo McGoos
• 2018 Terrorise Lachie
• 2018 McGovern Bowl
• 2019 Alex Keath Showdown Medallist
• 2019 Scray at home
• 2019 Phil Davis 3 Votes
• 2019 Ben10
• 2021 Prelim
• 2022 Farewell Russell
• 2023 Showdown (lol)

Could build a nice villa for a little pig with all these final straws, and I’ve obviously forgotten a truckload more.

In hindsight, losing to the lowly Dees at Adelaide Oval during the backhalf fade-out of 2014 would’ve been preferable.

It's so lamentably obvious.

We were out coached last night clearly.

A blind man can see that we need to prioritize holding up their break from defence and generate run from turnovers

But no... let's pick half back flankers and try and turn half the list into half back flankers

Our players have literally been gaslit into believing the coach can't affect the game once the match starts

Kenny your a good bloke and have provided us with some good times, but 11 years, enough is enough its time to step down and let someone else have a go at it

Nah.

He's a campaigner who put himself before the betterment of the club.

Just like the pres and everyone on the board.
