What a turnaround in effort from last week. The senior players really stood up - Macrao, Steele, Sinclair, Marshall, Wilkie, Higgins, Jones, Wood all excellent.

This should be the level that Windy sets and maintains moving forward. He showed more of the flair and attacking intent that he had in his first season.

Caminiti looks like a far better defender than a forward and should be allowed to settle there for the rest of the season. The game is simpler form him as a defender and he's got the athletic traits.

Stocker was rock solid before the concussion. Not sure what happened to Clark but he could barely move when he was in the ground.

Nas is the one we should be offering 1.5 mil for 7 years.

The really inexperienced kids in Collard, Keeler and O'Connell realistically aren't at the level yet but they all had great moments. Will be interesting to see if they are picked next week. Hall also struggled to get involved.

Owens is a beast and works brilliantly with Higgins. He looks to have some zip back that was missing last year.

Hill was slightly improved on last week but still needs to lift. Byrnes let his opponent almost win the game for them in the last quarter.

Overall, credit to the group for coming out and giving maximum effort after giving minimal effort in the last two showings. They absolutely ran out of gas but showed grit to hang on. Marshall seemed to need more of a rest than usual and we really struggled in those patches - I wonder if it's worth having a look at Heath who is a bit more physically developed than Keeler and more of a threat up forward than Boyd.
