I just do not understand how we have managed Hayes’ development. There have been some perplexing decisions in recent times regarding our talls - Frampton, Howard and Ladhams in particular. It is as if we were not using them to their strengths, they new it and the friction meant we got rid of Howard and Ladhams. Just an observation.

With Hayes’ he was well and truely on the way to us having our kids working to a dominant ruck- but that appears not to be what we want - we want a scrap.

It would be nice if he starts to show something now and somehow grab a spot in the 1st's. I'd love him be our Forward/ruck option over others who shall not be named.

A moderate gust of wind can cause a free kick against Port Adelaide in the sanfl, so I wouldn't judge him too harshly
