Look. The games he played last year, he looked gassed and had clear deficiencies.
Preseason and off season suggested issues with professionalism.

However, it’s hard to deny his talent. It’s hard to deny that his deficiencies are any worse than Brynn’s, Dante’s, Lycett’s or Jez and Dix.

I don’t know what the coaches want or see or don’t see, but it seems like we are missing something if Sam Hayes isn’t the best ruck option at Port.
