can someone please tell me that marcellin are not good compared to other AGS competition. they played scotch today in a praccie and received an absolute drubbing, 113 to just 15. scotch had smith, rioli, djekurra, jacobs, johns and ainger out and still had no worries. forget all comparisons, the AGS cannot compete with APS teams.

Williams also out. And Barlow only getting a half and regaining valuable touch.
Scott Sherwin is an absolute star, he is comparable to Jared Rivers as is his courage in the marking contest. Missed out at Oakleigh this year due to committment issues as an under-age player but should be back next year with avengence. Watch this space......

yeah so they were even on that front supposedly. would have loved to have seen a full strength scotch side. a 200 point win would have been on the cards

Marcellin had out:
Anderson -under 18 vic metro
Macaska - under 18 Northern Territory ruckmen
Carlyle - under 16 vic metro captain a couple of years ago and marcellin main ruckman as well
Coghlan - main on baller plays 4 oakleigh
Bain - plays 4 oakleigh
Tantis-Hall - Under 16 vic metro
Phadoenis - Under 16 vic metro
Crapper - Full Back
McKay - CHB
Whinstanely - only played a half because he was playing the next day. normally plays on ball.
Birell - Didn;t play much as he was playing the next day. Normally on ball.
Montagna - Brother of Leigh who was also playing the next day. Plays on the half back line..
Salce - Half backline player

Would have been a different game if these players were playing..taking nothing away from scotch as they are a very well drilled professional team..

yeah it's james...don't think he made the final cut for the vic metro team due to a broken leg...you seem to not rate him. this guy is a fair talent, played ones as a year nine last year as one of the main focal points up forward and was playing midfield/forward line at the beginning of this year...before the broken leg he was in pretty decent form. only queries would be he is pretty well developed for a 15-16 y.o. (whatever he is) meaning there might not be as big a scope for improvement in the future. but take nothing away from him, he's one to look out for...can play.

ive said this in another thread, but, anyone who kicks 9 goals and has 27 possies in one game must be a pretty good talent id say..
tantis-hall is exceptional for a year 10 and will dominate next year and the year after!!!
he kicked like 17 goals in one game in year 8 and played ones last year in year 9
