List Mgmt. SDK signs to the end of 2027

As speculated last week, SDK has officially signed a two year extension.

Looks like he knocked back big offers from multiple clubs including Saints and Suns.

Great to have this sorted so early in the season!

Like a lot of others SDK being smart and extending to 2027. Will make him an automatic FA for Tasmania FC's start.

Highly likely the contract was signed before our last game.

That would have made it much easier to drag the guy... which they did.

We are really optimistic about Sam De Koning.

We could leave him as a defender and I am sure he would do that role brilliantly for us, but a bit similar to some of our players over the last month it just hasn't been clicking for him.

We make no apologies for prioritising our best players and especially our young players.

We thought we needed to get him into the game a little bit more and if it didn't work this week, we would try it again next week.

IMO his decline as a key back is wildly overstated. It's not like he was getting bags kicked on him, it was just that he wasn't living up to the stratospheric expectations of a guy who placed 2nd in the Rising Star.
