Seems the Mount Buller Demons have undergone a name change over night and will be known as the Buller Plain Demons. Apparently* there was a geological event where the molehill lifted off the ground and vanished.

Whether it was Mobbs having a dreadful accident in Minecraft or the hundreds of #goalsfortheprols surrounding the former mountain is unknown. (1)

The jury is out on the cause but it seems the new name is likely to catch on faster than:
* sausageroll 'mounts' a case for the EKA.
* the Headless campaign for recognition of the specialist interchange position.
* manangatang to a joke.

Speaking of Mang, it seems Harvey Manfrenjensenden has had words with him, blaming him for diverting attention from the Serpents bid for admission. Tarkyn_24 made plain his view that he should be immediately installed as the new leader of the Melbourne Club Plain Demons.

In every country fair and sporting event of consequence there is a sideshow alley. Outside the Colosseum is no different.

Today the crowd is milling around their fave stalls. The Wonders kitchen has turned out some wonderful dishes, inc Yum Cha, Blackened fish, Trippa Parmigiana and mountains of slow cooked pigs trotters and slow cooked bunnies.

Elton Johns Wig and staff flogging out grog like you would not believe.

The Wonders merch stall is doing a roaring trade. Popular items are #WondersWeek and #firstto6 flags. Photos of legends are also flying out the door. No surprise Wiggy and U2tigers photos are selling well with Bono writing messages on his poster to his adoring fans.

Another stall is a modern version of the coconut shy. Here you can grab some wooden spoons painty in gaudy Dees' colours and throw them at moving ducks each with photos of notable Demons players as well as manangatang DemonJim Headless (rather hard to hit) sausageroll Proper Gander and the rest.

It is a fun time as it always at the Colosseum. Have a great time.
