Royals thread ASAP. Don’t care about the rest.
Hello and Welcome to the Season 30 edition of ROUND 13! After the presumably great WaynesWorld19 retired mid-season leaving this week open, I’ve decided that I, a lowly rookie, could do this great round justice by doing the only thing I can do, facts and figures!
I will be looking at the recent history of Round 13s gone past to figure out who will win this week, as well as looking at recent match-ups of the teams playing to see who has been contributing.
So, for those who are still reading this, let’s have a look at…
The Roys are good bunch to chat to, what with their tales of time gone by, while the Royals are a more “in the now” kind of team who stick up for one another, even if that person is clearly wrong. So before we see if opposites do indeed attract, let’s look at some stats.
Both teams lost in Round 13 last year, but it’s a different story further back. The Royals have won 3 of their past 5 match-ups in the round, while the Roys are on a 4-game losing streak including S28 which was between the two teams. Which players have been firing in these games?
Note: The only 2 things to remember here are the 2 most right columns; The Dream Team points and Points per 100 minutes.
A lot of Royals have been firing is the answer. Kennedy Parker , GreyCrow , CakeEater and Paddles_ have been the talent the Royals have relied on in recent times, while brahj , The Filth Wizard and ShaunDuggan have come from afar to lend another hand. The Roys on the other hand only have 1 near the top, but when compared to his Royal opponents, JackNah_8 is no different to delivering when it matters
Recent results have been a bit flip-floppy lately between the two teams, but what have been closer results have been the recent player scores. This time it’s the Roys who dominate with GCB85 , Runk and PurpleGreenRed up top flying the flag over Marlowe and GreyCrow, with the only thing separating the bunch is their score per 100 minutes. With both teams being high-scoring in the two areas I’ve looked at, it’ll be interesting to see which team will be able to come out on top.
