I'm not as keen a fisherman as my boy Yakker but I have caught muself a few flat head over the year and one thing I've found is they don't seem to be too discerning when it comes to bait.

Week 9 - Mt Buller V Roys at the Snow Dome


Well what an enjoyable week , at least for the most part. It was a week where there was very little flathead activity despite a variety of baits being used. The Roy’s simply wouldn’t rise and take it. There were fears that we’d go home flatheadless untl the 11th hour when there was a hot bite period. It all started when philreich posted the climactic end to an epic game in the wrong match thread

Then ClarkeM decided to take it upon himself to take said match result and post it in the correct match thread

And the entire Mt Buller team had a meltdown.

But right when you thought the Roy’s were without flatness there appeared a saviour.
