Out:

The skinny: Coaching Coburg last season, there were times when Tim Clarke pined for senior leaders to go with his many young hopefuls. He won’t lack experience this year as the Tigers front up for their first stand-alone year in the VFL. The list is thick with football know-how, from Aaron Davey, Andrew McQualter and captain Ross Young to James Wall and 33-year-old Luke Collins (lining up for his fifth VFL club). It’s a strong squad, but it’s hard to see all the signings playing at the same time. It’s easier to imagine good crowds at Tiger home games at Punt Rd. The place has history seeping from every corner and it’s a welcome addition to the list of VFL venues.
