There have been worse floggings in finals.

Essendon have been majorly inconsistent all season, and it was a bit of a miracle that the Bombers made the finals at all. And being so undermanned on the night, the result wasn't a big surprise.
But to dwell on Essendon's shortcomings is to not give Adelaide the credit they deserve. They played well tonight and were worthy winners.
