So I take it you mean Incentivise. Not sure I'd want to lead on it first up 1600m personally but might get it very easy.

Its probably that obvious lack of speed that you have a jockey/managers like John Allen staring at a map all day and deciding Fifty Stars best chance at winning the race would be leading and injecting fake speed in to end up with only slightly slower race than usual.
My first thought at leader was Tofane but now probably leading back to Incentivise barring a jockey plan for 20:1 pop. I wouldn't even be surprised if Lane was positive on IG from the gate.

Yeah Tof was my initial thought and still may end up there by default, but her only chance I think is cover so one of the stayers prob just rolls along.

They will think that but i prefer horses that if you are dubious of getting the trip then lead, run it how you want it run rather than being dictated to.
That said all jockeys and trainers outside Waterhouse hate that theory and would ride with cover so the result is same as you say.
Tof doesnt have a super sharp sprint either, bit of a grinder but can finish hard if she builds momentum so they won't want to be leaders back, would be looking to get to the outside

Seriously lead please.... I really thought she'd win it on monday. Lead them at a canter, click it up 600 out go for home and empty tank with 100 to go and challenge them to run her down.
Makes so much more sense than thinking hey, maybe we will be stronger late than Incentivise, IG and Sir Dragonet. All of whom look mile and halfers.

Tof and big mo to settle in the first 4 and settle down to fight it out. Suit yourself where the rest end up

St Leger meeting kicks off at Doncaster tonight with a couple of minor black type races.
In the Sceptre HIGHLAND PRINCESS was second to Space Blues last start which should be more than good enough back against the girls if she can repeat it.
The Scarborough looks a pretty low quality 5f dash - ACRECIBO ran second in the King's Stand so would want to be winning this back at listed grade to avoid being labelled a complete and utter fraud.
