How does it work?
Basics
1) If you want to play, post your intention that you wish to play.
2) The game moderator will give you a target. You will also be hunted.
3) Your target will not necessarily be hunting you. Somebody will.
4) Assassination attempts may occur at any time.
Other shit
5) To kill your target you must sandwich their post with two of your posts. Where A is the assassin and B is the target ABA assassinates B.
6) Targets cannot protect themselves by double posting. Where A is assassin and B is target, ABBA assassinates B.
6.5) Your second post, i.e. AB*A* must contain the name of a weapon and the name of your target in bold. You may edit this in after the post.
7) Triple-posting is deemed illegal and if you decide to triple-post, you are eliminated only if your assassin notices and then notifies the game moderator.
8) You may not announce the name of your target to anybody, on forums, in person or in PM's and any other form of communication with other posters.
9) Kills are only valid once the game moderator see the post so either tagging them or alerting them to the post of which someone has been killed is fine.
10) The game moderator will confirm when a target is deceased during the thread.
11) A target must post at least five times per 24 hour day (Melbourne time). If a target fails to post at least five times, they are automatically assassinated provided their assassin notices.
12) Once you are killed and it is confirmed by the moderator, you must leave the game and stay out of the thread.
13) The game ends when the game moderator decides to restore peace in the village and the winner is deemed the assassin with the most kills over the entire game. It's not a marathon.
14) Assassins will receive their new target as soon as possible. These new targets will be decided by the game moderator. You may not receive your next target for hours as the game moderator will try and change targets around so that people don't end up targeting themselves and also to try and get rid of trails.
15) Deleting posts isn't allowed. It's not in the spirit of the game so don't do it because if you're found to have cheated, you will be banned from all future games. I will also call you a shit bloke every possible opportunity that I can get. Just don't ******* do it. Thanks
