Just saw that Mick Reid, the 504 gamer who has been playing at Dandenong for almost 3 decades, has just been approved for a transfer to Hallam.

Anyone with the story behind that?
 
I think south yarra will be on the up this year after a disaster two year spell. Heard Hanney is staying aswell as gledhill. Also from a good source that Ardern who played there two years ago could be coming back played in the ovens and murray last year. Awesome comp with fev running around there. I see captain Brady left which is a big loss to them though thoughts??

Nothing there mate. Plays Super's at Hallam, and has taken on a coaching role with their kids. Leaves with the clubs blessing.

yep Hanney and Gleds hanging around...Gleds might kick 80 goals this year if his body holds up and we can keep him from having to be in the midfield too much...not sure what Jamie's doing, I heard he might be coaching the unders or the 2's...i rate him but again injury kept him from anywhere near his best when he played with us in 2012

all that being said I haven't been to training since december so i don't know who else we have picked up but might have lost a few from last year from what I've heard

cory brady has gone to glenroy (lance whitnall) to test him out in a far better league and his clearance just went through today I believe
 
Practice Matches should be right around the corner for everyone, less then a month to go before our first hit out.

Carrum have Skye and Caulfield leading up to the interleague round.

Lyndale taking on Powerhouse &Hawthorn in there 2 matches.

Yeah I was just mucking around. My former club played the Hawthorn Ammos and also Lyndale in praccy's for a couple of years. Didn't help me remembers Lyndales nickname though. I spoke I was close with cougars instead of Puma's.....sorry lads
 
Any clubs on the lookout for a praccy match on the 29th of March? It'd be against a VAFA D3 team and we can provide the ground.
