Who are some of the shortest men to play at AFL level? Lou Richards has got to be close to Libba's height.

Crawf, Harry Miller and Bateman are all 174cm tall, still about 10cm taller then Libba.

Paul Callery was pretty small.

There was an article on Mark Fine's book on Footy Legends in last weeks paper.
One of the true ones is an Essendon player who came third as a jockey in a hurdles race at Moonee Valley, before lining up for Essendon later the same day.
He must have been a little bloke.

Paul Callery Looks To Be The Winner

Through the years there have been a lot of good players that are not big guys. Brad Gotch was only 166cm and he played over 100 games with Fitzroy and St Kilda and Paul Callery played 182 games at 165cm. If your skills continue to develop and you keep playing well there is no reason why you could not play at AFL level.

No way know Callery was 5 6 - more like 5 3 or 5 4 as mentioned.
