It seems the Australian team are playing full time now. Is there ever any relief ? I went to tune into Fox sports hoping to see the NBL playoffs live and was greeted by yet another cricket match in south africa ! Bring back the times when (apart from the ashes in England in June,July every 4 years)cricket ended in March and didnt start again until November !

um, the playoffs were not formalised until after the magazine was printed and sent out so the times in the book are only tentative.

I'm generally a cricket nut but for a variety of reasons, I've barely taken notice of this one-day series. Partly because the real footy has started, partly because it isn't on TV and partly because one-dayers are really a sideshow to the Tests, especially overseas. I had more interest in the Test series in New Zealand that was just completed.

Foxtel has a website which has everything on it....maybe you should of looked there as well.
Plenty of ways to find out

The basketball was live on Fox Sports Two.

I could never get sick of watching cricket and I'm glad Foxtel has good coverage of not only the Australian tours overseas but also some other games that dont involve Australia. :):):)

Cheers!! :)

Seindude,

What's the next series being covered by FOX that the Aussies arn't in? I really enjoyed the SA vs. WI series last year as well as the India vs. Eng and SA vs. India series. I'd like to see a bit more of Sri Lanka or Pakistan....

you need your head read then, of course nbl playoffs are way more exciting

eastaugh36,

At least you could follow the best quality basketball... the NBA, if you're going to watch it!! Still, my best suggestion to you is to stick to the "basketball board" if you're sick of cricket!! ;);)

Briedis,

I had a look through the Foxtel's sports guide and it says that they are covering England vs Sri Lanka in May/June and England vs India in July/August this year, which will be great!! :):)

I agree with you about seeing more of Sri Lanka and Pakistan... especially Sri Lanka. Lets hope we can before Sri Lanka come out here for the one-dayers this summer so we can see how they play. :)

Cheers!! :)

Absolutely agree! We got Austar for the Indian tour and haven't looked back. Took out the special package for the English tour as well.

It would be unreal to go on that special tour to the World Cup next year, that Alan Border is flogging. Anyone know how much it costs? (I know, I know, if I have to ask, I can't afford it :( )

Fox Sports 2 is now 24/7 - I'm not sure what they'll find to put on tho' - but it will be better than that music blaring!!

I HATE that music. It always seems to be louder than the other channels too. I never used it to check the times either.
