Just watching the Bullants game on ABC at the moment. Simon White went up in a contest and fell awkwardly. Doesn't look good. Fingers crossed for him.

Simon White knee injury

Commentators think it's a medial, fingers crossed it's nothing more. Landed very awkwardly. He went off 2mins ago and straight into the rooms.

Our depth looks like it's about to be tested in the next few weeks, thank god for the soft draw..

Simon White's knee

Simon White has just gone down with a knee injury for the Bullants.

His left leg got caught under himself after a marking contest. Initial thoughts are that it's the medial ligament and not the ACL.

Was at the game and it didn't look good, he was down for a while and was virtually carried off, certainly didn't put weight on his knee.

Good luck, thought he was ok for the Ants today, at least shows grunt!

Our KPD's are cursed. .. or is it all KPP's. ..

Poor White. .. Luckily Thornton is there for depth and he is the only one avoiding the curse at the moment, maybe just his ability is cursed. .. ;) TBird, had a solid game last night too, seemed to do mostly the right things plus good marks and rebound kicking from the back line. ..

Far out what is it with our luck with injuries these days, we don't seem to get much luck, we have some good depth nowadays, we have recruited so well to increase our depth across the park

Bugger hope he's alright

T-Bird played alright last night. Only gave away 1 free kick if I remember correctly and it was very soft.

Just didn't look good, did it?
Ten minutes to go in a match that was lost.

Hope Bower is coming along well.
Austin showed just a little today also but both may be some way behind.

We'll need one of the above come finals.
For clarification, Bower will be playing for the Ants next week. :thumbsu:

Big fan of what this guy and our other backs have brought to the team this year, very disappointing for him that he's injured.

Him, Duigan and Laidler are starting to prove to be very handy support men to Jamo. Hurry up and get back soon, White!:thumbsu:

Agree with your comments AWG. We are assembling a band of extremely versatile defenders currently who can all play tall and small. All the best for a speedy recovery White! :thumbsu:

Very unlucky man considering it was in the last couple of minutes of the game.

Not only that but, White warmed up for us on Friday night and was going to be a late inclusion after Jamo suffered back spasms in the warm up.

Nevertheless, early prognosis is favourable so hopefully he can get back quickly and keep the pressure on the rest of our backs to perform well :thumbsu:
