I have heard from a reliable source that Jess Sinclair and Hamish McIntosh have both signed contracts for a further 2 years.

Also, in regard to our final Assistant Coach appointment, id like to have a few dollars on it being Darren Bewick !!

Please no not Darren Bewick who was the most hated footballer in his time!!

Great news about Jess and Mcintosh.

Wrapt with Sinkers and Monster re-signing, if true (why the hell has it taken so long though?). What about CJ?

Bewick...............hmmmmmmmmmmm............has been coaching in NT, and doing so very well apparently. Gave me the scheisens as a player but, if that's also true, I look forward to seeing how he goes. It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table with his Bummers background.

How solid is the source RooRuckle?

T'toes

Why is it always new members who have these 'reliable sources'?

RooRuckle's hardly new. Registered 2003! Just doesn't post very often.

Anyway it's been confirmed that Jess has signed on again for two years. Heard him on SEN. Said there never really was much doubt about him staying and that he wasn't after a 3 year deal contrary to some media speculation. Haven't heard about Hamish yet but good if it's true.

i am glad that SEN have being able to confirm Jess' signing. In regard to Hamish, i think you will find he actually re-signed about 2-3 months ago, but the speculation sparked on here convinced people that he had not signed. I hope this will now end all speculation.

Although it goes against every thing I have ever said or thought about the guy, I actually don't think I would mind Bewick as an assistant.

Saw him interviewed about a year ago, and he was impressive (for a red nut).

Often little terds like that will bring a lot to the table....they're conivers, which makes them thinkers.

Maybe he can teach Sharvey a thing or two about being a red-nut goal sneak who ********es of the opposition.

Someone with a bit of mongrel in him wouldn't be a bad addition to the coaching panel. For some reason though, I thought that Bewick wasn't exactly the brightest bloke around - is my perception true or not?

Also, wasn't he coach of the Gippsland Power when they had Goddard in that team?

I thought the same. It is probably due to the fact that he is cross-eyed, has an overbite and played for Essendon (and don't forget the red hair).

But my opinion changed after the interview I saw. It was on fox footy a couple of years back, and I think it was Dwayne Russel interviewing. Went for about an hour.

Made me give the little terd a go.

I don't post very often but read with interest everday. I am amazed and wondered what has the coaching abilities of Bewick got to do with him as a player . If he is employed by the club obviously he can bring something the we currently don't have.
I am sure every richmond fan hated Kingy but it now seems he could be landing at there doorstep.
Some of the crap written in here makes me wonder.

Am very happy to hear about Jess and Hamish, was starting to get a bit concerned.
Getting Bewick could be a good move, his knowledge of the players in the Northern Territory could be a huge bonus. With only a couple of late picks in the National Draft he could help us pick up a couple of rough diamonds from up north :D .

He could indeed.

Nice work Rowdy Roo.

Oh, and I hate the little red headed **** with fierce passion, always have.

Welcome aboard Darren!!!

Yes, I totally agree but why are we still compelled to login and read?

(Having said that I'm probably guilty of the odd crap post myself, however I don't think I'm as bad as some.)

Confirmed also in The Age:

Roos land Sinclair signature
October 27, 2004 - 2:10PM

Jess Sinclair has denied trying to squeeze a three-year deal out of the Kangaroos after today re-signing for a further two seasons with the AFL club.

The Roos landed Sinclair's signature after protracted negotiations and strong interest from rival clubs during the trade period and ahead of the pre-season draft.

"I never had the intention of the leaving the Kangaroos, and the speculation that raged about me wanting a three-year deal was not true," Sinclair said.

"Now this is all over, I can concentrate on having a big pre-season so I can get back into the form I know I am capable of."

The rebounding defender had a disappointing and injury-interrupted 2004 campaign after a career-best season last year.

"This year he won't have an interrupted pre-season as he did last year with the suspension that carried through from the previous season," Roos coach Dean Laidley said.

"We are expecting a big season from Jess in 2005 and we are very happy he will be continuing on with our club."
