He's so important to us, think they'll try and nurse him through the season until we can't.
We aren't contending for anything. Not even the wooden spoon.

Send him for surgery and don't waste the time this year.

This gives him a lot longer to recover for next year to be cherry ripe.

Also gives us a chance to blood Hutchinson and get other forwards playing to see what they offer.

We will want Jake to make the most of his form, hes only had a couple of months as the main guy.
If hes ok to play id get him in, nurse him through a few weeks, see how he goes and if hes not gonna get consistent footy then cut him off.
Whatever happens we have to make sure his last game for the season gives him enough time to recover comfortably before preseason.

He might not even need surgery.

Would be foolish to end his season now without seeing how he goes.

Plenty of players with bad shoulders can keep playing on.
All depends on the severity.

Jokes on us. kelly out for the year so jake still more likely

dont you ever say that high school GIF

I doubt Jake goes for that. If he maintains this form and finishes top 5 in the Coleman (hell, maybe even wins the thing), then he can Immediately turn around negotiate a very big increase to his contract (both on term and overall dollars). He probably goes from mid rung pay to top 10%-20% in club. That could be worth well over $1M to him. Well worth risking a shoulder op.

Hewett running freely at training is a positive very different to match conditions but a positive .

Every week is progress, nervous to hear any news of a set back.

Cannot wait for the day we watch a midfield of Reid, Ginbey, Hewett, Culley and Pick 3, replacing Sheed and Gaff (thanks and all the best lads).

Sheed has left his legacy at WC for sure , still offers some experience which is handy . Gaff also been an AA player and a star player for 4-5 years .
New midfield model is being established , twelve months time could be a very different midfield .

Oscar Allen Knee 1-2 weeks

Rhett Bazzo Groin 3-5 weeks

Luke Edwards Concussion Protocols 1 week

Elijah Hewett Foot 5-7 weeks

Jayden Hunt Toe 2-3 weeks

Tim Kelly Hip 1-2 weeks

Noah Long Knee Season

Jake Waterman Shoulder Test

No TK sucks. Waterman back this week ideally, will be bloody hard to win any games (even lolnorf) without Reid, TK, Waterman, Allen, Hunt.

Big fan of the website saying Oscar Allen has yet to play this year when he is our captain and led the boys out in Round 1.

Likely Essendon return:
Luke Edwards
Oscar Allen
Tim Kelly
Jayden Hunt
(2-3 weeks is a worry that they can’t say with confidence, given the bye).

We’ll see you when we see you:
Rhett Bazzo Groin 3-5 weeks
Elijah Hewett Foot 5-7 weeks

Noah Long Knee Season
