(I don't want to insight a riot....)

but if you're felled after you have kicked the ball does the penalty not apply downfield, should Bakers free have been on the goal line?

(.........though if their as soft and as unwilling to go for the jugular as their team it could be fun)

I thought the same thing, it was a very soft free kick to begin with, and I was also curious about how long the umpire took to pay the free. But yes i would of thought that it should have been paid downfield.

If the ball did not cross the goal/behind line it would of been down field but as it did he has 2 options. either to take the kick again or let the 1pt stand

you mean the umpires robbed me of tipping 8?

I believe the rule is because the ball hadn't crossed the line, it is not an extra kick. Apparently its the rule of disadvantage, because the ball went through for a point, the 'down field' kick would not be on the goal line, it would be on the point line on an impossible angle, so the kick is re-taken from where it happened.

Well actually I read that somewhere and it makes sense, could just be made up ;)

As long as they do not ask the defender that is. :D :D

yeah lets go back and change all the mistakes, oh wait in that case baker would not have good a kick. Problem solved.

i agree. the free should be taken where the ball landed. As the ball landed 15 rows back, he should have taken his kick from there.

After Grehig gave away a triple 50 and Johnson kicked the goal
What was the free kick count?
Was it 15 to 1?
Does H Kennedy hate the Dockers?

What is Ball had called for a count? Would we have had a real percentage booster?

Now that would incite a riot. But in some ways it was the end that this match was screaming to have after the fiasco leading up to it.
Not really, it happens in every game whenever a kick is after the siren in any qtr everyone spills onto the ground whilst the kick is being taken
