Tertiary and Continuing Sports Statistics Jobs

Hey guys, not sure if this belongs here or on the Statistics board, but thought it would be more relevant here.

Does anyone know if companies like Champion Data and other sports statistics companies are generally willing to take fresh graduates (with a relevant degree, of course) in entry level or trainee positions? I would like to work in a role involving statistical analysis, and it would also be nice to work in sport.

Firstly, id call them and ask. No harm in trying and/or asking.

Most of the people who do the sports stats are old school research statisticians, academics etc. Possible that there might be a new wave coming through but there aren't many places in those fields so you'd have to really impress to have a chance.
