Bit overcooked mate , I agree Dawson is a hack but they have alot more elite players than West coast and Carlton .

If you're referring to the NAB Cup GF last night, the Saints back line were certainly exposed. Not helped by losing Sam Fisher 5 minutes into the game. Did you notice that? No? Was that why he made your hack list? Because he didn't have much impact on the game? Ah well. Glad things are holding up well over there in the West.

In fairness to the Saints, Fisher or no Fisher, they were up against the best forwardline in the competition. They'll still strangle alot of average sides with their super-zone.

Saints had the best defense last year, I am not surprised you think they are our rivals. I think we will go past them this year and take that mantle

Puts Carlton in the title in the hope you will be a hero and get a thread into triple figures
wambat!

I have a game to play, in the modern era of AFL, who has had the best defence in terms of scores posted against them? When you reach a conclusion you'll understand why this thread fails!

Biggest spud in the AFL, he wouldn't even get a game in Carlton's pissweak defence let alone St Kilda's.
You have Dawson.

Only Riewoldt fired against Carlton with Kosi smashed by Jamison.

Without Waite and Thornton, Jamison, Austin and Bower generally held their own after Riewoldt put on a clinic in the first half.

It took Montagna and Dawson to finish us off after Fevola and Houlihan missed their chances to win the game.

Without your zone and mids flooding back to help out, Dawson would look worse than Melbourne's tall backs.

Our backline doesn't get the support of the top teams.

Apart from Sam Fisher, I'd be content with taking Garland, Frawley, Rivers and M.Warnock ahead of Dawson, Gwilt, Blake and Gilbert.

I agree with most of this however Bower is no good and without Carlton's midfielders giving Judd a clear run to the ball he'd be an extremely average midfielder.

I'll go out on a limb, Judd is finished as a competition "threat".

Yet another know nothing who underestimates Jason Blake. Excellent.
