Wardlaw has been a massive pick up. We've been a different team with her in the side.Melbourne are there for the taking this year - need to be brave and attack them hard. Hope we get them...win that and the Bulldogs game and that would pretty much cement a spot in the finals for us.
C'mon Saints!
P.S. Am so happy we picked up Wardlaw last year. Richards has really lifted her game this year a level. Great to see.
Commentators always biased towards our opposition. It’s as though we are outsiders.Commentary sh*ts me off these days. Someone took a really good mark then had a sweet kick hitting up a lead. No idea who it was because the commentators are waffling on and not calling the match.
Yep its done very week, deliberately, just to annoy Saints fans, no other side.Commentators always biased towards our opposition. It’s as though we are outsiders.
it's been really bad, I've never heard so much barracking for an opposition team week in week out, sure were biased as supporters, but the commentary has been appallingly badYep its done very week, deliberately, just to annoy Saints fans, no other side.
Ill grant you that last night they did go on endlessly about GWS injury list, with barely a mention of oursit's been really bad, I've never heard so much barracking for an opposition team week in week out, sure were biased as supporters, but the commentary has been appallingly bad
Agree fully with you - I've watched most of our games this year and she has not been good unfortunately in-game. No idea why but she has regressed a fair bit this year. Is it the role? Is it something else? Not sure tbh.Still worry about Hannah Priest. I understand what she brings as a leader and as the face of our women's program, but she fumbles constantly, drops easy marks, gets beaten in one on ones too often, and is as slow as a wet week. She's had disposal numbers of 3,8,5,5,4 in 5 of the 7 games this season. We need more from the captain. Jakobsson has been a bit quieter this year as well but she's got a lot more help down back this year and the backline is functioning pretty well.
Charlotte Simpson has done a good job I've felt, played nearly every game and I'm hoping with Whiley can develop into another in and under player. We still need more help in close though.
Shes also 32, age can suddenly hit and its just hard to get that fitness up to scratch.Agree fully with you - I've watched most of our games this year and she has not been good unfortunately in-game.
