Wasn't sure where to post this, but these are the guernseys St.Kilda will be wearing for the Pride Game against Sydney.

The Swans will be wearing rainbow socks.

Good initiative, but those numbers might be a bit difficult to see; commentators' nightmare perhaps
I reckon they would have been better off placing the rainbow where the red panel is.

The numbers look great. Nice touch without being over done. They remind me of the old Apple logo.

Swans in socks is also a nice touch, and both teams having different approaches avoids any possible clash issues.

For me, the club is bigger than the cause.
Irrespective of the cause.
So for Anzac Day, I believe Collingwood and Essendon had it right with the Anzac Day logo.
Doing something like colouring the numbers is different enough, and yet doesn't change the overall design.
I don't mind this at all.

Normally I would agree with both of you but I think the point with this is that this issue is bigger than footy clubs.
Yes but the clubs still need to be identifiable.
If they change their kits too much they become the rainbow team, not St Kilda supporting this issue.
Like with Indigenous Round kits etc, if the jumper stops being easily identifiable as the specific club, it loses its usefulness as a "logo" of the club, which it still is. Regardless of how good or important the cause is, these are still club jumpers and club merch.

That's a fair point.

I would have liked to have seen something like Barrybran suggested, but also get how it is not necessarily identifiable as St. Kilda. The Pride flag across the whole back like they did with the purple for Maddie Riewoldt last year could look good IMO.

I wish they'd leave the jumpers alone for these themed games. A pre - match announcement and maybe coloured socks would be fine, but the jumpers are messed with so often now that the rarity value and the impact have really diminished. No unreconstructed homophones will see the light because of novelty numbers on a player's back.

Something personal to the club (like Maddie Riewoldt) is one thing, but sugar daddies and right-on 'awareness' jumpers have been overdone

The file labelled StKPride2.png is perfect.
wanted to try something on the front of the jumper too, wasn't sure about the visibility of the yellow on white though.
