It really comes down to if he can work with Martin. He will only get 1/4 the opportunities if Martin is in the same forward line

I reckon Miller will play more often than Soldo. And I love big Ivan
On paper we look good.
But I reckon 15 of our best 22 have reached their best footy peak based on age and a number of those are past that and will have injuries.
So it will come down to how much better the other 7 (including Taranto/Hopper) can improve us to counteract the possible drop off in the 15 including injuries. Still need good luck with injuries.

Maybe we can use Cotchin in tagging/cooler role (when needed) next year? We've actually got that luxury now and it'll be handy against a Brisbane or Melbourne.

He’s way more versatile than stuck to full forward
Yep, that's what I have also for our forward 6. Cumberland, MRJ, and Bolton provide the speed and pressure. Martin the smarts and strength. Jack the same, and Lynch is the contested marking beast. We were the No 1 scoring team in 2022 and i don't expect that to change in 2023 with our highly talented forward setup. The Midfield will now be one of the best in the league and the backline will appreciate that with hopefully less fwd 50 entries for the opposition.
No doubt the backline will tighten up with Ben Rutten back on board. An exciting year ahead.

Cumbo has also shown he is capable around the ball with his quick thinking and creativity and marking power.
Great opportunity to share the role somewhat and extend Martin's career. When Dusty has a breather Cumberland would be forward etc.

With Hopper and Taranto in, I wouldn't be surprised to see Short move out to a wing to take Kmacs spot, in fact, I really like the idea of Shorty staying up the ground, rather than wating his long disposal from a back pocket to a back flank.
