Even if Sidey might come good again, it's probably time we transition him out. We've seen the best of him, he's a champion of the club but at 33 he's not going to get better.

I'd play Lipinski in his role as that hard up and down winger runner and bring in a Reef or Macrae permanently to take Lipinski's current forward or midfield minutes.

Turns out we just need to play him at half back.

He was essentially spending most of his time behind the footy when he was playing wing so not as big a positional move as some seem to think. Just seemed to get to the right spots today and was able to impact.

I have always loved and defended Sidey and will be sorry when he decides (or someone makes it for him) to retire.

Could this be his last year? I hope not with so much youth and inexperience in our VFL.

He's a smart footballer. Was off for a few weeks. Good to see him get some form yday.
