At this point I would choose Sidebottom. Players with a great kick are so valuable.

I'd say of the Pies midfielders Pendlebury is a little underrated, because he's just so good. Sidebottom gets plenty of recognition considering the player he is.

Good call, Steele is a great player will good skills, but his kicking isnt comparable with the absolute best in the league. His kicks often fall short of their target leaving difficult half volley pick ups for his
teammates.

Still love him in our side
 
He looks very natural on his opposite side which is why he is probably misconstrued as an elite kick. Super player though.

Guys like Pendlebury rarely even have to use their weaker side as they are so good at getting themselves into an advantageous position. Boomer was very similar in that regard.
 
Pendles is above Sidey for disposal. Sidey is a great kick, but at times takes the safe option and when he doesnt puts his teammate under the pump.

Pendles is just as good a kick yet creates for his teammates. Almost shows them where to run by putting the ball there.

I think thats over-rating him a bit, but he's definitely one of the few guys who is truly ambidextrous.

(plus - im glad its not a collingwood fan creating this thread).
 
Teach Treloar that sublime stuff that Pendles has and you have a new captain. He is desperate for a win and loves his team
 
Congratulations on game #200 for this champion of the CFC.

Still only 27 and durable, has every chance of breaking Collingwood’s games record of 313 odd.

Has always been a consistent performer and added the inside game to his bow in 2018. Hopefully we can enjoy watching him strut his stuff for another decade.

Seems to have 1-2 absolute brain fade unforced errors (out on the full, dodgy floaty up and under kick to a team, loopy handball) every week. It's what's always held him back from being elite. Not technique, just concentration and decision-making on occasion.

He's "ok" on both sides? Are you suggesting his overrated kicking would be less noticeable if kicking for goals? Are you for real?

i feel like that side of his game is now a thing of the past, rarely do i see sidebottom make shocking errors anymore.
