it will get worse once players start leavingYear is effectively a write off.
Can't see that anything positive has come from it.

Both add more to the team than your repetitious bs add to this forum. Not winning or getting close with butcher Scott and pink in the side
That has to change after the bye

From today and probably 6 more after our next game . Slow and steady wins the race.Only 6?
Didn’t even watch today. Went to the local footy. First time in years, cbf anymoreHard not to start pulling back the emotional investment as weeks go on.
Chicken littles everywhere. We’re improving. I get frustrated too believe me but if you can’t see the improvement you’re a football illiterate.
Yeah we’re shit I know. But the team cohesion is improving, hence also the individual efforts. We’re out of the sewer and into the gutter. Incremental af, but better than going backwards. Which we ain’t.We've put together 4 maybe 5 good quarters of football in 11 weeks.
Even if we are improving in individual areas we aren't improving enough to keep up with any other team in this competition, nor enough to offset our regression in other areas, and at our current rate we will be extremely lucky to win a game this season. It's statistically improbable for sure but that's the reality for this club at the moment.
It is probably getting worse because some players are already thinking of leaving.it will get worse once players start leaving
Except when we beat Hawthorn in round 24 to really solidify our winning culture!!! We also lose pick 1 but who cares anyway...Year is effectively a write off.

Issues everywhere, worst for mine is still that our leaders are some of our worst offenders when it comes to momentum changing heck ups.
First half was decent, in that we were full of vigor. We were never a chance though because at our best we were still making unforced errors like we were being paid to, and Port were just coasting. Third quarter we dropped intensity, Port saw the downhill slope had just cleared up, and they laughed all the way to the bank as our heads dropped and stayed dropped. Fourth quarter was whatever. Our intensity better than the third, and credit to them for not completely checking out, but even with sporadic intensity it was clear that everyone was moping.
s**t sucks yo. I'll say it again, first thing in the pre season the club needs to have the lads in workshops working on their mentality. We have a cultural issue. There might be half decent bonds between most of the players but it means heck all on gameday when heads drop across the board.
We have players on our list that aren't, or aren't going to develop into, good AFL players.
Clarkson and Viney must now know who these are. Play those that aren't in the VFL and focus
development of those that are seen as having potential.
This is absolutely our problem. Yes we have a young team. Even a skillful team. We can compete when we're fresh and all is well. But not once the game wears on. Then we stop competing. Our fitness levels are so far off the average team, let alone the top echelon.
Why are we so much smaller and less fit than every single other teamGoing early here considering there's a whole quarter left, but here's a few thoughts now that we have been blown out again;
- Why are we so much smaller and less fit than every single other team? It can't just be a youth factor.
- Our bottom 5 players are holding us back every single week.
- Too many of our "good" players had absolute stinkers today.
- Tucker, who has been a deserved whipping boy most of this year, was pretty decent today I guess.
- Sheezel deserves better team mates.
- When Wardlaw has the ball, good things happen. But he doesn't get the ball enough.
- Duursma needs to figure out how to get more involved, and needs to learn to play two-way footy.
- Xerri needs to stop taking the ball out of the ruck.
- We need another contested ball winner in the guts. Phillips? Zurhaar full time mid? I'm not fussed. But it needs to happen.
- Powell is weird because he gets decent numbers but I don't feel like any of his touches are particularly damaging, nor are they a crucial part of a chain that leads to a goal. I might be crazy but he feels like he's in no man's land.
- Sigh.
