I liked it when he talked quite naturally about playing in a grand final. You’ve got to have goals, and I think players can be reluctant to engage with such ambitions.

Spot on. Sure beats the "happy to be here" mentality that a lot of our players (including some of our better ones) have had over the last couple of decades.

A team driven by success will be much more likely to achieve it than a team that isn't.
