Super 25 type AFL international club comp one day ?

Not sure how youd morph current interentional comp into one but My thoughts is it could run in the AFL off season.

Have clubs (franchises) rather than interentional teams meaning good quality austraialn palyers could be based in other parts of the world, 'spreading the word'.

could be recenty retired AFL stars , state leagu e level players and locals.

May even have a couple of australaisian tem in it with imports form areas which dont have a regioanls team


I thought itthe cmp could kick off with all teams being in australia and palying curtain raisers etc to AFL finals - that way the non oz guys get to be here during the AFL finals.

Then continue the H&A season super 15 style, maybe another 16 rounds - then go into finals in the christams holidays- all broadcast back to Oz etc.

When I say super 15 style - i dont mean 15 clubs across 3 countries, I mean maybe 16 clubs spread over 4 countries/regions eg North america, britain, europe, asia

Would probably go broke afer one season. Flights accomodation and the crowds would be tiny. Simply not worth it

It wouldnt happen overnight - would have to be built up slowly.

Dont underestimate the amount of money people would be prepared to invest, The irish for a start !
