I keep hearing this. His explosiveness at centre bounces and stoppages. Where's it at, and how's it going for us?

It's a total myth. He's a general play gun whose strengths are suited to time and space and an open field, not to the inside of a contest and working in a telephone box.
Yeah nah.
His speed and hips out of the CB is elite.
He needs a miner and better ruck service.

I think other than the Frankston game, we haven't even looked close to winning. And to be fair to the skinny teenagers, they haven't had much support from the older listed guys or top ups, who are of varying standard.
I’d back in Coburg against our ressies right now

I'd rather Chad Warner on the wing than Stephens.

I still think he's more of an outside player than an inside one.

Yep the explosiveness out of the midfield is over rated - happens so rarely in AFL games

When it comes off yep awesome but so few and far between

It does and it has.
Look at last season.
What am I looking at?

Our midfield worked best when Warner was being tagged and was our least consequential midfielder.

But don't take my word for it. Here's his best plays from last year. The best bits are when he is holding his width, being fed the ball out from the contest, ie. AWAY from the contest. You'll see they've included examples where he's won it IN the contest, complete with hack kicks off one step and hospital handpasses under pressure, just like every other mid not afforded time and space. Just like 2023 Warner.

I just watched that and have no idea how you reached that conclusion.

Most of the "highlights" were him kicking goals.

Some of the highlights were him in tight. Contested.

Some were running past . Outside.

The only apparent thing from that video was how much more confidence the mids had. Confidence and speed.
