YesDid BT just call Chris Fagan Dennis Pagan?
And trade for players when you don't need to keep early picks to access top talentEasy to pick up 1st round draft picks when they're handed to you on a platter
Yeah we are already flush with those. Don't need anymore. This says to me if we are going to trade picks it needs to be for players who aren’t going to go missing when it matters.
Have to say brisbane was well managed in all areas on and off the field last 8 years or so. They way they traded and at the same time picking 1 st round draft picks every year and picking good players with those picks. They were resilient after final losses after losses and kept combination of draft and trade. They made sure trades were cheap and used first rounders every year. And they kept playing finals every year and that cohesion helped finally?

Its been long enough that I don't care anymore. I can barely remember him as a docker tbhAnyone buttthurt about Lachie's success with Lions?
Would've felt worse in 2019 but now it's just a dull ache..
Not at all.Anyone buttthurt about Lachie's success with Lions?

Funnily enough I was still going for Brisbane in 2019 and 2020 because Neale was my favourite player and I still liked him. Would've hurt less at the time if he won it back then when I was still rooting for him. God I was even really happy about his first Brownlow for some reason.Anyone buttthurt about Lachie's success with Lions?

One thing about 2013 is we shat the bed but kept ourselves in the game.Yep.
Average margin in a grand final over the last 10 years is like 8 goals or something.
It's actually quite boring as a neutral.
We've had like 2 good games.
It's literally impossible for us to follow the model they have used to get to this point. That's a template for Freo to follow. A combination of draft and trade.
Yeah we are talking about that here. For a losing team in a modern GF we actually played with pride and gave a decent account of ourselvesOne thing about 2013 is we shat the bed but kept ourselves in the game.
It was almost a great way to lose a GF.
Wasn't a heartbreaking loss by 2 or 3 pts but wasn't a 50+ point flogging either
Not to mention the amount of players they've gotten via trade who used the "want to get out of the footy bubble" excuseIt's literally impossible for us to follow the model they have used to get to this point.

Having a quick look - including the drawn GF - there are only 8 GFs with a smaller margin since we've been in the comp.Yeah we are talking about that here. For a losing team in a modern GF we actually played with pride and have a decent account of ourselves
GWS.I reckon any other finals team would have played better than Sydney today. Even Carlton I reckon haha
I mean it's been since 95.Why don't we produce any FS guns or just any at all?
Yep.Two father sons with another on the way plus Sam Marshall
Maybe because we have only about a handful of players that would even have sons old enough to be drafted, football talent aside. Why don't we produce any FS guns or just any at all?
