Hi everyone, was wondering if anybody could perhaps help me with this. I'm trying to find ladders for historical TAC Cup seasons, and australianfootball.com has been helpful for the most part, except for the fact that there's a absolutely nothing for 1994 though to 1999. If I'm not mistaken a few clubs would have joined in this period, or changed their names too. I have browsed the net but can't find anything other than Grand Final results for this period so I was curious if anyone has any physical ladders from a footy record or something of the sort. Possibly even an old AFL Victoria media guide (I can't find my 2012 one so idk). Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Here's the source I was using previously Australian Football - NAB Boy's Premiership Season - Season 2022

This is the best I can do. Unfortunately, they're not full ladders, with for, against and %. From the AFL Football Record Season Guide (1997-2000):

There was no 1995 season guide, while it didn't have a TAC Cup section in 1996.

These are fantastic, and the finalists ranking is very good too, needed to know who went out in each stage of the finals and I reckon I can deduce it from that. Thank you very much!
Side note, would you happen to know which seasons the Northern Knights were called Preston for? Have been able to find it for Dandenong, GWV and Sandringham but nothing for the Knights unfortunately.

There's a reasonable coverage of the history of the competition here (including name changes): Wikiwand - NAB League Boys
Those missing ladders should be out there somewhere, but where, I'm not sure!
I’m considering heading down to the State Library of Victoria soon to go through whatever records they’re able to get in, fingers crossed they’ve got the last pieces I need

You should be able to find all the finals results you're looking for here: https://find.slv.vic.gov.au/discove...61SLV_INST:SLV&collectionId=81212328830007636
Week 2, 3 and 4 Finals Records should have the details of the (finals) games played.

e.g. this is from the 1992 Finals Week 2 Record (page 64):

BTW I've checked The Age newspaper on the Monday after the last H & A round was played (for a few of those missing years) and they don't seem to have the ladders. I haven't seen them included at any stage of a season.

Looking at the ladders posted here, they were Preston Knights 1996-1999, Northern Knights 1992-1995 and 2000 onwards.

This appears to be the final ladder for 1994:

It seems they played challenge games to decide some of the finals spots; I've no idea why!

The ladder shows Murray finishing 6th and they played 10th placed Bendigo, while Eastern (7th) came up against 9th placed Gippsland. That's not what the draw said was meant to happen, so I don't understand any of that!

They talk about the finals starting that week so the above ladder must be the final one:

It looks as if they didn't have a final ladder in the Football Record 1st week of finals editions from 1996-1999.

TAC Cup finals are very strange, even in the last couple seasons they've done playoffs and in 2010 the Pioneers (last place when you exclude Tas and QLD who played 2 games each) qualified for the 12 team finals yet GWS were one spot higher and apparently just weren't part of the finals, unlike 2009 when Gold Coast were able to play finals. Very strange all around.
Once again, thank you very much for these, was not expecting anyone to be able to find such a wealth of information so quickly
