Sounds like typical Adelaide. Why do the bare minimum with minor offences when we can cut our nose off to spite our face.
They'd be filthy with Stengle, you can understand that from a certain perspective. 2nd stuff up in about 6 months.

Also, they've worked on this with the AFLPA.... They wouldn't be able to sanction him that greatly without approval from them.

6 weeks still seems heavy to me if I'm honest.

6 to 10 is way over the top. I hope we come up with some kind of other punishment that wont hurt us on the field.

On SM-A205YN using BigFooty.com mobile app

We are elite when it comes to player punishment. Best in league, and by a big margin. And it's that kind of punishment culture that has led us to being the envy of the league.

I think it reads as a try hard attempt at justifying why Adelaide would be in the race ie it smells like a manager pushing a ''battle zone'' to drive up price
We would no doubt be in the race, we did ask him to do medical testing.

6 weeks is ridiculous.

What did DeGoey get for drink driving and sexual assault and fighting and lying to Collingwood? I bet it wasn't 6 weeks.

All of that is 100 percent worse than having possession of minute amounts of coke.

This is Trigg "school teacher" like stupidity.

His hamstring would probably spontaneously combust the instant he made eye contact with Hass.

I agree, but again he's ****ed up twice.

I think 6 weeks is too much.

Exactly..

Its just like the Cricket Australia morons givin smith and warner a year off for ball tampering..

when the poms and South Africans have been caught doing it heaps of times and their countrys cricket associations hand out slaps on the wrist..

they wouldve been laughing at us for the way over the top shit CA dished out to their own players all to make some laughable statement..

If it was port they’d give him a one match ban.. but let him play SANFL..

Did we?
I thought the article that I read a couple of weeks ago read that he and his management were getting "independent" medical testing done and were forwarding the results on to both Adelaide clubs?

Both clubs asked him to do it

Lots of 1st strikes out there taking no penalties. Would be rough for Stengle to get 6-10 but then again....hes lucky hes not having his contract ripped up.
Why?... why the **** should he have his contract ripped up when the AFL’s own rules state a first drug offense is a fine and councilling?..

Nothing more than a massive overreaction to appease the namby pamby apricot slice brigade section of supporters.. half of which probably have Alzheimer's and have bloody forgotten about it by now!..

If the Crows have no interest in Fantasia, its probably in our best interests to still pretend that we do, if anything so that Port pays more for an injury prone player.

Bickley is such a square dick.

He said the other day Crows supporters would want to see the players severely punished because they’ve done the wrong thing and it involved coke.

I think most supporters who aren’t 80 realise coke is just part of life for a lot younger adults with money.

It would be rampant in the league so why should our players get smashed just because they were caught.

Drugs are bad but not as bad as cheating on your wife and mother of your kids. Bicks should pipe down.

Its unreal..

the cops didnt give enough of a shit to even bother charging them..

the AFL rules state the first offense is councilling and a fine..

yet the dickheads running our club are gonna give stengle 6 weeks off?.. and punish the entire team, club and supporters over it.

It would be nothing more than a total and utter overreaction that would ultimately achieve very little.

I just want my team to have the best players and win every week and have the best back of house staff possible to make that happen. I am not fussed too much what players do in their off time as long as they don't stick their heads out too far.
