Grant O'Brien, who started as a shelf-stacker for Woolworths and rose to become its national head, is given the task of ensuring Tasmania is ready to play in the AFL in 2028.

May 10 2024: The appointment of Brendon Gale as inaugural CEO.

Devils bag Richmond great Gale as head of new Tasmanian AFL team

On the same day as his exit from Richmond is announced, Brendon Gale is named as the person to head Tasmanian's fledgling team, the Devils, towards their debut in the AFL.
