Predictable, Bullants are the best VFL team this year. Lost 3 of their best players for last week, will account for Werribee

Absolutely dominant display from the Bullants - they haven't let the Bandwagoners get a sniff at any stage.
Certainly a far cry from the rubbish they turned out the previous week - they looked very good.
Big crowd there, probably 10,000, not that they made any noise, crap atmosphere with 9,997 barracking for one team and three for the other. They sat like shags on a rock all day.
Bellerive continues to have problems, last week they couldn't get the crowds in, this week the electronic scoreboard packed it in before the game and had to have the ground announcer calling out the scores after each score.

Good on the Bullants for winning. :)

VFL First Semi Final
N. Bullants: 2.4.16 - 6.4.40 - 14.5.89 - 18.9.117
TFC Devils: 1.3.9 - 2.7.19 - 5.12.42 - 5.14.44
Attendance: 11,456 at Bellerive Oval

Any of you experts able to give me some Best players for Tassie. Ithought Grima tried hard Brett Geappen was good and Jovanovich had 9 tackles.

Watched it on the box. Devils were shocking, whilst the Bullants were in a comfort zone.

Yesterday's semi-final at North Port was also fairly one-sided.

Bendigo 20.8.128
Port Melbourne 13.14.92

Bendigo's Essendon-listed players were amongst the best, with Thomas BOG and Watson bagging 5.

Next Week:

Saturday (apparently): Werribee versus Bullants. 1.10pm at Port Melbourne.
Sunday (apparently): Sandringham versus Bendigo. 1.10pm at Port Melbourne.

Least the top 4 sides have made the preliminary finals.

Launceston gets AFL games because York Park's a better facility, because the location is more central and because Northern people won't travel to Hobart to watch AFL games with w@nkers like you.

Y should southerners travel up their 2 watch matches then? is the same distance from launnie 2 hobart. go a take a walk in traffic

*Sighs*
We won't be getting any AFL games in the South while Wade and Co are heading AFL Tasmania.
There's too much mistrust and hatred of them and thier organisation from most parts of the State.
In my opinion the people in charge of operations up North should immediately take over the running of Tasmanian football to get ALL levels of the game back on track properly.
The current AFL Tasmania staffers are too elite-centric for the wellbeing of the sport itself - it's fine to focus on the elite - but not wholly and solely at the expense of the rest of the code.
What remains to be seen is wether if that happened, would the act in the best interests of all parties or be too North-centric.

That's the whole reason 21,632 people have been to the last two Devils matches in Hobart, what other atmosphere-charged decent level football is there to watch in Hobart now?

if you want to watch AFL games bad enough, a couple of hundred kilometres isn't going to stop you.

how about we play AFL in Swansea? then everyone will have equal reason to bitch.

We got the football here in the North because we wanted it, went out and got it. Hobartian never learn. You lot are all live of the goverment just expect everything to be handed to you. Everyone in the North does the hard work and you just want to take it. The same old story. Anyway, the population is large up north than south and people on the North West Coast have every right to see the big game. Hobart is too far away.

Aurora stadium will be able to hold double that amount easily. Can't wait for more top AFL action in 2006.

The AFL is in Launceston because Bass is a marginal electorate - simple as that. The stats from the last election showed more government money spent in Bass (Launceston) than in any other electorate in the country. Even here in Sydney, Launceston has a reputation as the begging bowl of the country.

Sydney is a hole where everyone who lives their thinks they are something special. Even others in NSW hate Sydneysiders as all the money is spent there. Begging? Just lucky that Labor and Lberals are desperate to snare it. That is politics. Besides, ratepayers have footed the bill for much of Aurora stadium - we made it happen. Get over it southerners. Your cricket ground was upgraded from taxpayers money...

Sydney has the reputation as the gay capital of Australia ..i'm guessing thats why you decided to live there
