Pretty sure his team mates would see it differently.
Doubt it , call it for what it is. No use doing selfless acts all day to do the ultimate selfish one.

Why does it matter as long as you are jumping up and down on the mark and have not encroached by even a centimetre!
All they ever had to say was you cannot step sideways in either direction but you can wiggle your ears , raise your eyebrows or shrug your shoulders as long as you are on the mark
That is why it should be on the scrap heap along with the protected zone B S.

At the time I was thinking just stand still, he may not have heard but not an excuse these days. Pretty sure once Tay sees it he will understand, maybe just not in the moment.Because he jumped up and down, then moved backwards, then sideways, then backwards again, all AFTER the umpire had told him to stay multiple times.
Why are you arguing this? Adams lost his head and ducked up, badly, twice.
No mention of the tackle on Adams that caused him concussion.
Haven't seen any footage in the media or discussion, but I was sitting right in front of it and it looked to be a dangerous tackle, looked to lift him up and then swung him down hard. Surprised it hasn't been spoken about, considering every other tackle causing concussion gets at least 7 days of airtime.
there’s a reason for that.No mention of the tackle on Adams that caused him concussion.
Tackle didn't dump the head into the ground. It was bad luck as he connected with a bloke's knee.No mention of the tackle on Adams that caused him concussion.

Let me preface by saying I see a fit Adams in our 22, but with the Pies looking at Fiorini and Mitchell, do you believe they have concerns about Adams’ groin injury? It must make him feel a little nervous seeing the guys going out for both a long-term AND short-term inside midfielder to help with our clearance problems - whilst still holding JDG who does it as well as Adams now.
My main concerns for Adams is that he is one dimensional, and fear the end is near for him, as he doesn’t really have the right skills to play in any other role/position outside that inside, grunt midfielder.
Having just turned 29, after 2023/2024 (will be 31), where do we see him playing his best footy? Is he capable of fitting another role to remain in Collingwood’s best 22?
Pains me to even be talking about this as he is a heart and soul type of player and I can’t (don’t like to) see a Collingwood best 22 without him.
I’m not convinced he’s that one dimensional, more that he’s only ever played as an inside mid at the Pies by reason of us not having many other ball winning mids during his tenure with the club.Let me preface by saying I see a fit Adams in our 22, but with the Pies looking at Fiorini and Mitchell, do you believe they have concerns about Adams’ groin injury? Absolutely agree with that view.I’m not convinced he’s that one dimensional, more that he’s only ever played as an inside mid at the Pies by reason of us not having many other ball winning mids during his tenure with the club.
Pending how much these injuries impact his ability to run, but I could potentially see Taylor being handy splitting his minutes forward and in midfield. Brilliant pressure player and will provide opportunities for creative forwards purely with his hunt and will. Has always been capable of punishing teams with opportunistic goals, and he is typically a good set shot. I think it’s worth a crack.
They will both play mate. Great combo that could deliver the flag.I was thinking that Adams would be 1 of the Happiest Players we had after we got Mitchell as means Adams does not need to do everything by himself.
Then I thought Mitchell be ahead of Adams in the Inside Mid Depth Chart
Can't believe the hate he cops. Heart and soul, wants it more than anyone, and his kicking has got so much better since he first started. Still prone to the odd clamger but if effort won flags he'd have 10. My favourite.Adams deserves way more respect then he gets on these boards.
He plays V Swans, Pies play in the GF this year and the very least deliver better than the trash the Swans dished up, at best we have flag.
Tay plays with his heart on his sleeve like Tony Shaw used to.Adams deserves way more respect then he gets on these boards.

I agree, some people have their best sides for 2023 without Adams included, if he's fit he plays every week, not a doubt about itCan't believe the hate he cops. Far from the most skilled player going around but he has a heart the size of Phar Laps and it's all Collingwood.
Needs to spend the entire off-season rehabbing and getting that groin fit.
Always seems to be pushing himself to get back early and it hasn’t worked the last few years.
Just turned 29, still has some quality football in him should he get a good run at it.
