Disagree.Mitchell was better than Adams by a wide margin
Only 3?Remember 3 shockers where he passed straight to Carlton players
Macrae was the natural before he got injured. Not sure if Carmichael nor Allen is ready. Bianco is no good.Adams should be in trouble to hold his spot but who is the replacement?
Do we have enough time to blood a youngster or two?

That's a concern.Macrae was the natural before he got injured. Not sure if Carmichael nor Allen is ready. Bianco is no good.
Not sure where this Mitchell hate is coming fromMitchell be the one that could be Dropped
Wasn't great tonight but just had his two best games of the year. Don't think he's at risk of being dropped.Adams should be in trouble to hold his spot but who is the replacement?

Yeah I don't understand it either. Not sure where this Mitchell hate is coming from
I wouldn't play them both - but it's Adams I'd pick. Mitchell can't get the ball out. When he gets it, he just takes the tackle and it's another ball up.I don't think Adams fits the Fly style. They have tried to make it work but I'm not confident when it really counts that we can play both Mitchell and Adams. I would be choosing Mitchell for sure.
I think Adams has been good as a half forward this year - but now that Lippa is back to be the half forward that comes up into the midfield, we should stop it - as we're a proper forward down. One of Mitchell or Adams as the sub. They talked about Adams and Mitchell on AFL's AAA, and how fly is trying to add all these mids in, even in positions they aren't suited to. Like neither these players are half forwards or flankers.
We don't need one more mid.Adams should be in trouble to hold his spot but who is the replacement?

Just listened to that. I agree unfortunatelyThey talked about Adams and Mitchell on AFL's AAA, and how fly is trying to add all these mids in, even in positions they aren't suited to. Like neither these players are half forwards or flankers.
He was one of our better players against Carlton with 23 disposals buy yeah not that flash.Mitchell and Adams have been very good this year, Adams has even shown a bit when forward. The problem is, Adams played his worst game for some time on the weekend, and Mitchell has been below par for several weeks now.
At one point in the 2nd qtr. our forward line wasBy playing these pure mids as forwards is you are taking away what they are good at, plus you are reducing a spot for an actual forward.
This is the bevo way to do things. Put so many mids even up forward when they aren't forwards. Lets play players in their natural positions, if you can't fit them in.. then so be it.
Lipinski has replaced WHE though, so hasn't really changed the mix too much.I think Adams has been good as a half forward this year - but now that Lippa is back to be the half forward that comes up into the midfield, we should stop it - as we're a proper forward down. One of Mitchell or Adams as the sub.
