If he didn't kick that we wouldn't be playing next saturday. He was starting to look good in that 2nd half so I say keep him

Leon Davis on the otherhand.......if he plays next week, Malthouse should be sacked imediately.

Wow. What an epic! And who would have thought that there might have been a difference if Davis played instead of Goldsack?
My changes would be:
In: Presti, Goldy
Out: N.Brown, Davis
Was very impressed with the way N.Brown played, and I'm certain he will learn allot from the experience. But if Presti is right to go I think he could still be more important and fresh legs could be handy.
Leon. Nice goal and at a time when we needed it. But as I will post this week in my list review (unless I save it for another week) is not a forward pocket. Can't play the position consistantly. Bring in Goldsack, he should be emotionally right to go and I think could be big with his pressure game as well as his versatility around the ground.
Anyone know if we do make these two changes whether both Leon + N.Brown would still receive medals if they don't play next week? That does intrigue me.
On player for player the obvious choice but been out for a while
I thought Brown was good. Reiwoldt was always going to have an impact on the game. Brown did well to restrict Reiwoldt's influence inside 50. He had most of his posessions up the ground.

We need something to contain Goddard's influence.
I thought Brown did well and deserved his place... . Riewoldt was well contained in the 50 by Brown. His damage was done when he went towards the center, our midfield didn't pick him up.
I still think we got away with a draw. 30secs left and the ball was in our goal square. We could have easily lost it.
We need to re-group and re-focus for next weekend.

I don't like the 6 forward, 6 defender structure the Magpies have, because it never seems to look like we've actually got forwards when its a hot contest. As others have said, Presti for Nate and Goldy for Davis, making it 4-5 forwards with 6-7 defenders, and plenty of runners in between.

I dont know if I can take that again. I'm sure I cant take another week of waiting.
I've supported Leon being in the team but I didnt see enough from him defensively. I thought Nathan Brown did pretty well... but I wouldnt mind seeing Presti back.
I cant see who would replace Davis if they drop him.
And I hope people dont trash any of our players this week. They will need their confidence for the next game.
