Some great games this week with varying styles to enjoy. Great game at the Gabba along with a high scoring draw and some good hard contested footy down at Skilled Stadium.

Player of the round goes to Gary ablett Jnr with Lance Franklin having possibly his best ever game.

Cpl of games with even contributions such as the Doggies/Tiges game...difficult to find standouts from them to slot into the team this week.

Ruck again a very difficult slot with some decent but in general rather unspectacular performances. Have gone with Josh Fraser this week for his 4 goals. Jolly/Cox/Hille/Simmonds all had reasonable games so i chose the #2 ruck from the more contested footy game. Once again Steven King's tapwork was good but fell early to injury. Sandilands a lot of tapwork but against nobody...anyone rucking against Adelaide right now SHOULD be totally dominant.

Not many standouts down back this week. Hudghton had a terrific one on one game...with guys like Rutten and Scarlett also solid without being outstanding. Bock was v good on Pavlich i thought. Croad did well but i saw them use JBrown as both a decoy for the main target of Bradshaw and also unsuccessully thru the middle.

Shame file: Noone...maybe Sydney for an "unsydneylike" last qtr after being within 3pts. But we did get blown away by an unstoppable force on the day.

As a side issue.... at this pt of the season my choice aound the centre clearances (not necessarily around the ground) is this:

Ruck: A fit Dean Cox
Mids: G Ablett, L Hayes, S Black

Interchanging with your choice of:C Judd, J Bartel, B Sewell, B Harvey

Good team Bollox. Scarlett a bit unlucky, but Hudghton was very good.
Keep up the good work mate. :thumbsu:

Yeah Scarlett and Richards both had good games. Thought Stokes did well but kinda came into it after Ablett had already destroyed us in the last..good contested mark for a lil bloke. Steve Johnson got a lot of it after u'd won last week but this time he was great in the 1st half and had a much bigger influence.

For my money, I probably would have had Harding on the HBF in place of Boyd.
But that is mainly bias and shock from my part, as i've never rated Harding too highly, and yet he played an electrifying game on Saturday night.

Top team :thumbsu:

Looks like i must have been Boyd watching...general concensus is he's not deserving.
Noooo probs.

So who should be the replacement ?

L Harding maybe ?...or promote one of the blokes off the bench ?

Someone else ?
